Colorado Dropout Summit Page


The Colorado Dropout Summit for School District Leaders was held October 2009 at Arvada High School. The purpose of the summit was to enhance, advance and accelerate district efforts to increase graduation rates, recover dropouts, and engage students.

It was generously sponsored by America’s Promise Alliance and State Farm Insurance. It was co-convened by The Office of Governor Bill Ritter, Jr., Colorado Department of Education, and the Colorado Graduates Initiative: Colorado Children's Campaign, Colorado Youth for a Change, The National Center for School Engagement.
